Shevach Pepper's Biography

Early 1990s
Began informal business and life coaching to successful adults

Shevach began informal coaching rather unintentionally in the early 90's while teaching successful adults certain technical skills. At that time he noticed that, besides teaching these skills, he was also helping them sort out and solve financial, family and career issues. One of his "students" was so impressed with his business advice that he eventually gave him money to manage in the very volatile futures market! (He ultimately left this field, feeling that understanding people and helping them serve society better and was more gratifying than understanding S&P contracts).

1996
Received government cetification to teach learning disabled at the elementry level children. Began teaching this age group and working to build up their self esteem

After experiencing the satisfaction of helping people he decided to take a special education teaching course. He received government certification to teach learning disabled on the elementary school level and began to teach in resource rooms "one-on-one", helping many of his pupils to reach academic success. In working with his students, Shevach noticed that most of the focus of their lives was on failures and he therefore shifted his teaching methodology to incorporate building up their self-image as well. This is where his magical success began. He bonded so strongly with these children and gave them such a good feeling about themselves that even today, even more than a decade later, these young adults will cross the street to greet him warmly and many also invite him to their weddings! Shevach's talent for working with kids began to extend to mediation in difficult family situations. He excelled at providing parents with the skills to deal with family life and challenging children.

2000
Qualified as NLP practitioner and began dealing with "at-risk" teenagers building up their self esteem

At this stage he felt that it was important to improve his communication skills so he qualified as a NLP practitioner. Armed with this new skill he began to deal with a more challenging group of people- teenagers "at-risk". Again, Shevach found that his skill at gaining trust and building self-esteem was very beneficial. In one case he was dealing with someone whose self esteem was so low that he truly believed that anything good that he did was only accidental and only his bad deeds were the result of his choice. This made him feel totally worthless and that he wasn't worthy of getting married. The happy ending is that tfter speaking to him for about three months he got engaged and today, five years later, he is happily married and the father of 2 children.

When asked what does he feel is his biggest accomplishment he answered, "Raising 12 children (who today range from 5 to 26) with my wife to be friendly, caring and helpful with each other as well as being positive members of their respective communities."
